For the Recruiters to be successful in their mission, they turned to the history of building residential schools. ![]() The protagonist, Frenchie, a fifteen-year-old boy, and his companions try their best to avoid the Recruiters for their safety, they run to the north (Brock). To get the marrow means death to the unwilling donors.
